“Quinlan & Julia had a family of 13: –
(1) Patrick (born Jan. 15th 1898) went to Charleston, Mass., U.S.A. and married Mary Murphy from Cobh;
(2) *Quinlan (July 3rd 1899) went to Somerville, Mass., U.S.A. where he married Mary Brooks of Firkale, Glengarriff – an aunt of the present John Brooks, Glengarriff. Quinlan and his family returned to settle down in the home farm;
(3) Mary (Feb. 25th 1901) went to Charleston. Mass., U.S.A. and married John Dinneen of Incheese, Kilgarvan. They later returned to live in Incheese;
(4) John (Dec. 24th 1902) went to Charleston, Mass.,;
(5) Michael (Dec. 27th 1905) went to Metford, Mass.;
(6) & (7) Con and Daniel were twins and were born on May 11th 1908. Daniel died when he was 1 year old. Con went to London where he married Mary Connors, a Welsh girl whose father came from Killarney;
(8) Jim (June 27th 1911) went “cliamhain isteach” to Nora Murphy (daughter of Daniel Murphy and Margaret O’Sullivan), Ardacluggan;
(9) Florence (Aug. 2nd 1912) married in kenton, Harrow, Middlesex, England, to Nelie O’Rourke of Brandon, Co. Kerry;
(10) Peter (May 30th 1914) married Rose Baillie and lives in Hackney, London;
(11) Julia (Nov. 22nd 1915) went first to Dublin and later to London;
(12) Phil (Philip Bernard) (Dec. 14th 1919) went to London;
(13) Peggy (Apr. 9th 1921) married Jimmy O’Sullivan (son of Daniel & Catherine O’Sullivan) Lehud, Ardea.“
