Patrick was born on 15 January 1898 in Kilcatherine. He emigrated to the USA in 1921 and worked as a stoker. At the age of 28, he married Mary Murphy. They lived in Tremont Street, Boston, Massachussets and they had three children. Patrick died on 20 November 1980.
