Philip Sullivan Travel Permit

During the Second World War, Phil was required to hold a travel permit in order to enter the UK and move around the country. The cards were issued in Ireland by the Garda Siochána and the bearers were then required to register their addresses with the local police. This card succeeded an earlier one which had been issued in Dublin in 1941.

Pictures of some of the pages are included below and show that Phil travelled extensively for work throughout the period. Places of work included Plymouth, Devizes and Cirencester.
