Patrick Barry was born in March 1835 in Ring, Clonakilty, Ireland. He came to Newport, Wales around 1850 and, at first, lived in Fothergill Street with his father. He worked as a labourer, on farms and in the docks. He died on April 28, 1907 in 7 Reform Buildings.
Bridget Sullivan was born around 1837 in Clonakilty, Ireland. She came to Newport, Wales around 1850. She was admitted to the Union Workhouse Infirmary in February 1914 and died there on July 28, 1915.
Patrick and Bridget married on June 28th 1859 and they had nine children They lived in Reform Buildings.
