Paddy Connors (1919-1974)

Patrick John Connors (Paddy) was born in 1919 Newport, Wales. His mother died when he was five years old and his father died eight years later. During the Second World War, he served in the Merchant Navy. In 1944, he married Louise Nail who was the daughter of a circus lion-tamer and sister of the actress Paddie O’Neill. They had three sons. Paddy died in 1974.
