Mort (Mor) McCarthy & Ellen O’Shea

Mort Mor MCCARTHY was born around 1812. He was a Farmer. He died on 28 October 1896 in Kilcatherine, Beara, Co. Cork.

Ellen O’SHEA was born around 1820 in Knockananebracca, Kilcatherine, Beara, Co. Cork. She died on 8 November 1895 in Kilcatherine.

After they married, Mort moved into the O’Shea family home. They had nine children. Information about Mort Mor McCarthy and his children is contained in Annals of Beara.
