John Dineen (1897-1976) & Mary Sullivan (1901-1982)

John DINEEN, known as Jack, was born on 22 Dec 1897 in Incheese, Kilgarvan, Kerry, where he grew up. He took part in the War of Indepencence between 1916 and 1922. In 1926, he travelled to the USA and then returned to Ireland. He was a Farmer. He died on 18 April 1976 in Incheese.

Mary Sullivan was born on 25 February 1901 in Kilcatherine and baptised in Eyeries on February 28. She grew up on the home farm in Kilcatherine. She went to the USA in 1924 and applied for citizenship three years later. She then returned to Ireland. Mary died on 21 June 1982.
