Mary Kathleen Connors (1922-2008)

Mary was born on the 2nd of January 1922 in Newport, Wales and baptised on January 22nd. Her mother died when she was two years old and her father died eight years later. She was educated at Holy Cross School. She moved to London at the age of 14 and worked in a maternity hospital, carrying out domestic service. She married Con on September 27th 1941 in Lewisham and they had three children. Mary died in 2008.
